Community Health and Wellness Class Schedule

Monday

Pound - 10:00 a.m. & 5:00 p.m.

Fuses cardio interval training with drumming to provide a challenging, heart pumping workout.

Balance/ Cardio - 2:00 p.m. 

Balance/Cardio is a good totalbody work out. Class begins with stretching and transitions into the balance portion of the class which includes performing various balance poses. Participants have the option to use balance foams to challenge themselves more. The Cardio portion of class is done with hand held weights.

 BANG by Julie- 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Pre-choreographed fusion of boxing, HIIT, hip hop, world dance, optional weighted gloves, and just a touch of attitude. Offering a wide range of intensity options to customize your workout.

 


Tuesday

KickBoxing Cardio – 6:15 a.m. – 6:45 a.m.

Kickboxing Cardio Blend is a fast paced, high intensity workout. Through a blend of interval training and kickboxing techniques, this class is designed to effectively increase strength, stamina and flexibility

Silver Sneakers - 9:00 a.m.

 Fun, energizing program that helps older adults improve and maintain their strength and balance.

Gentle Stretching – 9:30 a.m.

 A great way to add flexibility and relaxation to your routine, from your chair or mat.

 

Freedom Barre - 5:00 - 6:00 p.m

Pre-choreographed ballet-inspired workout. Built by ballet professionals, funky and fun. Offering a wide range of intensity options to customize your workout.

 

Zumba by Julie – 6:15 - 7:15 p.m.

 Zumba consists of dance and aerobic exercise routines performed to popular, mainly Latin-American music.


Wednesday

Silver Sneakers - 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Fun, energizing program that helps older adults improve and maintain their strength and balance.

Tai Chi for Arthritis/Fall Prevention - 5:00 p.m. - 6:00p.m.

Tai Chi for Arthritis helps people with arthritis to improve all these and more. Additional benefits include improving relaxation, balance, posture, and immunity. Tai chi was created based on nature and harmony. The gentle flowing movements contain inner power that strengthens the body, improves mental balance and brings better health and harmony to people's lives.

 


Thursday

Kick Boxing Cardio – 6:15 a.m. – 6:45 a.m.

 Dancing to the Oldies - 5:00 p.m.

An aerobic dance class of moderate intensity with music taking you back to the good ‘ole days! Great cardio workout.

Pilates by Ginny - 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Pilates is a system of physical conditioning involving low impact exercises and stretches designed to strengthen muscles of the torso,

 


Friday
